Respect and Kindness:
Treat every member with respect and kindness. Disagreements are natural, but always express your opinions in a considerate and constructive manner. Use respectful and inclusive language. Avoid offensive or triggering content that could impact others.
Inclusivity:
Embrace diversity and be inclusive. Avoid all forms of discrimination or harassment. This includes those based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, or religion.
Privacy:
Respect the privacy of others. Do not share personal information or location. Do not share any information that can be used to identify or contact you directly. This includes email addresses, cell phone numbers, and social media accounts. We strongly discourage face-to-face meetings with other community members.
No Hate Speech or Bullying:
We have a zero-tolerance policy for any use of hate speech, bullying, or harassment. Report any such behavior using the in-app report function.
Media and Profile Pictures:
We don’t recommend that you post any pictures that could be used to identify you. Note that we review all media you upload before being visible to others. It is prohibited to share any content that is improper.
No Medical Information or Advice:
Do not share personal medical experiences. Do not seek medical advice, recommend treatments, or therapies. Do not engage in diagnosing medical conditions for others. If someone shares medical advice, please report it to our staff and do not adhere to it.
No Self-Promotion:
We don’t allow any form of self-promotion or marketing activities. The community is a space for support, not advertising.
Reporting Concerns:
If a member has violated the Code of Conduct, report it using the in-app report function.
Enforcement of the Code of Conduct:
Do not attempt to sell or offer medical advice. Do not engage in offensive sexual behavior, or post violent statements. Such behaviors will result in suspension from the community. In other cases, the first offense will result in a warning. The second in a 48-hour suspension. The third offense results in a permanent ban.
