Had a really bad flashback in my dream yesterday and now I’m too anxious to go sleep today
I can relate, Masuka. I was really anxious last night to fall asleep because of awful flashbacks in my sleep lately. They come and go. I tried to do something calming before bed, do some breathing exercises and meditation to best prepare myself before I slept to cope with whatever came. It was not an easy night again unfortunately but I know I'm coping better today because of what I did to help myself before. What helps you cope?
Hi. Not much really helps for me just making sure I’m not laying down until I’m all the way calmed even if I have to keep getting up to sit at the edge of my bed. Doing some progressive muscle relaxation and then laying back down. What techniques do you try?
