I have been working to be more consistent with morning and evening journaling. Looking at what I’m grateful for each day, what I want to focus on, and what thoughts I’d like to carry into sleep. Do you journal? I’d love to hear about your experiences!
Have you heard of “morning pages”? It comes from the book “The Artist’s Way”. The exercise is to write (long hand) 3 pages each morning. Focus on what your aims are, what you are grateful for, and the like. It’s not a place to dwell on what’s “not working”, but rather a place to free up your brain to connect with solutions and propel you to a more positively focused journey.
