What has your experience been with meditation? Do you feel like you’re doing it the “wrong” way? The “right” way?
Here’s a tip...you’re not supposed to do it the “right” way in the beginning, or even in the middle lol. It’s the practice that’s important, not how well you do at it.
What’s most important is that you try. What’s second most important is that you actively guide your thoughts towards what you want. If you want calm, focus on a calm mind. If you want to feel inspired focus on a calm mind. If you want peace...you guessed it, focus on a calm mind. The idea of trying to not have thoughts is not exactly what you should be going for . Work on having thoughts that are guided towards a calm and clear direction. If you feel like you’re swirling, just breathe deeply and begin again. When you wonder breathe deeply and begin again.
