Need advice. My friends has asked me to hiking on a relatively easy trail to see wildflowers. I really want to go. I have not done anything fun in over 6 mos. But my family said NO! They are afraid I’d catch covid or maybe injure myself during the hike. What should I do? Is it safe to go 😣

It is safe to be outside but you and your friend must wear masks if near each other or other people. It will probably do you a lot of good.

Infection outside as long as you keep your distance is pretty much impossible. Go for it, it will do you good!

I think you should go! It’s good to get some fresh air and see friends. It is safe if you keep your distance and take good care of hygiene!

It is safe to go outside especially on hikes with friends but as fun as it will be I’m not sure it will be worth the tension you will experience from your family if you live in a shared household. You should weigh up if any of them have severely compromised immune systems. Perhaps you need to take a smaller steps first to get your family more comfortable.
