Hello everyone, I live in Brooklyn NY, and I am a Coronavirus survivor. If there is anyone who is going through this difficult virus or know anyone going through this, I want you to know that to not overthink this or panic, be brave, stay safe, stay hydrated, you can survive like I have
Hey y'all I'm so glad I found this group. I just got tested yesterday, I've followed ALL covid protocols & still somehow may have it, I'm genuinely scared which is outside my character because normally I am the voice of reason & solid structure to my family .. anyone with solid advice? Feel free to message me directly, I'm welcoming other survivors with open arms .. ❤️
Hi I have a start of a cold which is a sore throat, blocked and runny nose and sinus pain in my nose and ear ache . I phoned my work and they want me to get a covid test . I’m awaiting a phone call from my doctor as I would rather talk to her before I get a test . I’m off work today and tomorrow need to contact my work tomorrow to let them know what’s happening. I don’t drive so I can’t get to a test centre. Has anyone had something like this ?
Hey everyone so I tested positive 5 days ago and had fever, chills, body aches, brain fog, head ache and sinus and diarrhea... then yesterday all my symptoms went away ... today I wake up with a wet cough and a bit on pressure on my chest but nothing bad enough for the hospital. My question is has anyone stopped getting symptoms and then they show back up the next day ?
I just need someone to talk to..my mom has come back positive and I’m scared for her and my father as my father is in the age we should be worried for, plus he has leukemia (in recession) which scares me how that will affect him. Now I have symptoms (Bad cough, severe fatigue and headache, can’t walk due to being severely lightheaded and, nausea) anyone have advice on how to handle myself physically and mentally and to be strong for my family?
I just tested positive for COVID but have had symptoms for the past week. Finally getting better, but stuck quarantining out of town until I hit 2 weeks and can fly back home. Still struggling with taste and smell but it has improved.
If anyone wants to chat about their recovery I’m happy to! Thankful I’m getting better and regaining my strength.
Hello Wisdo family, I am so sorry that I haven't been as active lately as I have had some issues that I am trying to sort out. I am wishing everyone a merry Christmas and a happy new year! Please remember to be safe this festive season and enjoy family time!
It's been 12 days since I lost sense of taste and smell, and I can still only taste/smell occasionally and at most at 30% capacity. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to expedite the healing process or have anything to share from their own COVID experience? I miss being able to eat food and interact with the world the way I used to.
I have another question, anyone who has tested positive, mainly recently, have any of you lost your appetite and lost a substantial amount of weight during the period you were ill or symptomatic? My appetite has gone, but I’ve also lost a huge amount of weight in the last 2 weeks which to me is concerning.. just wondering if anyone has experienced the same thing
Anyone dealing with full body pain? Would love to chat. Feeling it everywhere.
Could someone answer this question please as I’m very confused, and the NHS are not stating it clearly. If I tested positive on the 29th Dec meaning I have almost finished my 10 days self isolation, however if my dad tests positive today, does that mean I have to isolate again or am I clear to go since I’ve already isolated and we’ve had symptoms near enough at the same time?

So I just recently found out my coworker tested positive for Covid with only mild symptoms. I’ve had direct contact with her as I work in the same room as her, but I feel completely fine. I’ve started to self isolate and am currently waiting to follow up with what proper protocols to follow through on.🥵🥵
Hey, thought I’d pop on here to see how everyone is? Are you ok? Are you coping ok? If anyone ever needs someone to talk too, I’m always here. I tested positive at the end of December, but because other family members in my house have tested positive recently, I’m now in my third isolation in a row, so I understand how you feel. Just making sure everyone is ok? 😀

Hi everyone. I made a post about a week or so ago sharing my coworker tested positive for Covid. We’ve been staying in contact throughout our quarantine period and I’d just like to share what other symptoms she experienced a couple of days after she got tested. She slowly started to experience loss of taste, body aches and cold chills. Not fever status though. Fortunately she’s been on the recovery stage and is doing much better! Has anyone with mild symptoms initially who tested positive also experienced similar symptoms later on?
Hi, has anyone experience losing there taste for 3 weeks, for it to return, and then suddenly fade again? I tested positive December 29th so I should be all clear now. I’ve only just gone back to work this week due to self isolating because of family. My taste had practically returned to normal this week, however this evening it feels like it has suddenly changed again. Is this is normal or should I be concerned? I’ve been at home for a month other than the odd shop trip, and I’ve been back at work for 4 days.
I’m still dealing with lingering fatigue on the daily and am super dunzo with it! 😴 I’m grateful I had a mild case. Our media environment made a lot of people terrified of contracting the virus (I was early on, for sure), but the death rate and hospitalization rate compared to infection rate are blessedly low! Waiting for the vaccine to be distributed is rough. I think we’re gonna have to hang tight for most of 2021. But we got through last year, we can get through this one too.
