I been playing video games
In the past 2 days I've spent 7 hours playing star dew valley this is becoming a problem
Going to work, going home to play gta 5, going to bed. Restart.
Hope everyone is okay. I know we’re to talk about gaming addictions but I just thought about those marvel fans out there. The open beta for Marvel Avengers is out now (I think it’s only available for PS4) On the other note; what makes your addicted to video games? The stories? The interactions? The graphics? The characters?
👾🤖PMA🤖👾 How does everyone time manage I spent so much time gaming and I ended up breaking a controller. Any advice would be much appreciated 💙
Hey everyone. I’m joining this group because I’m concerned my partner has a gaming addiction, and I’m not sure what to do about it or who to talk to... My partner and I moved to a new state in the last few months because we finished college recently (I’m a 2019 grad, they’re a 2020 grad) and I got a job out of state. My job started March 2nd, and have been working about 50-60 hour weeks since then. I have chronic illness and a physical disability, so I’ve been too exhausted to do much outside of work. Because of this, sometimes I don’t have the energy to keep up on housework or cleaning. My partner applied to a few jobs, but hasn’t been very motivated to actively apply. They’ve maybe applied to 20 jobs in May/June, but only a job here and there since then... I don’t expect them to do all the cooking and cleaning, but since I’m working so much, it would be nice to have extra help around the house. They load/unload the dishwasher, and do small tasks like taking the trash out, but the house is always generally a mess, and they don’t seem to be bothered by it at all. They instead spend all their time gaming. From the time we get up during the week, around 5:30am, to when I finish work around 7pm, they’re playing World of Warcraft. This is in addition to a few times a week in the evenings for raids and whatnot. Granted, I have 0 issue with them gaming. It’s a fun hobby and I get the appeal! But I’m hurt because I’ve been paying rent, all our bills, and buying us groceries on my own from February to now, and they’re not even trying to find a job because they’re too busy gaming. I wouldn’t have an issue paying for everything if they were just TRYING to find work. I’ve sent them many links to jobs they qualify for, and tried to talk to them about applying places... But nothing seems to motivate them. Also, the night raids have cut into our date nights and time we used to spend together. I just feel like they’re taking over their life and they don’t even seem to care about how hard things are getting for me. We had a plan that they would try to get a job by July, and start paying bills in August. But since they haven’t been trying, we haven’t made that at all... I guess I just need some advice... has anyone been in a similar situation of a partner not quitting the video games even when life starts to hit them?
Any advice for fall mountain🙏🏻😫
I’ve got back into Fortnite. Just bought the battle pass.. not sure how I feel about that
Bo4 and cod games
👾🎮PMA🎮👾 So recently Ive watched streamers just to take a breather from gaming it helps and I learn tricks to the game I currently play while I’m doing other things.
I’m honestly addicted to buying gaming stuff I’ve already spent nearly £900 this week 🙄
This never happened to me before and idk if it's a problem, but last night I felt dissociated from my body and the physical world while playing Minecraft - not just the usual "escaped from reality" kind of feeling but almost an inability to get back into reality. It was brief but it felt so weird
I've played a lot of Apex Legends since it released. I'm very competitive so I've tried to reach the highest rank in the game each season. I always fall short each season and I spend so much time grinding just to not reach the top. Sooo much wasted time. 😭 Anyone else have a game that does that to them?
Is the new Spider-Man any good
Does anyone here play Rainbow 6 siege ?
👾👾PMA 👾👾 Taking a step back when my gamer rage takes in has been helpful to my happiness. I had been raging my controller and it wasn’t healthy so I cut down a bit and noticed a difference
How everyone doing?
My brother is mad at me because too much money on game
Hi everyone I wanted to ask you these questions. 1-Does your video gaming get in the way of other important things in your life, like your relationships, your job, or going to school? 2-Do you feel like you’ve crossed the line between loving to playing and having to play? Might you be using gaming to avoid a deeper problem, like depression? What your thoughts of this ?
I love video games forever
Hey Everyone. @teala-creina just joined the group. Please join me in welcoming them and introducing yourself here!
🎮🎮PMA 🎮🎮 So recently I started splitting my time between ps4 and a new phone game and it’s helped balance my time and I find I have a little more for other things. Balance is very important in life and it can be a struggle to maintain at times
I get bullied on ps4 sometimes
I am on my video game
I still play my xbox 360 but got bored of playing games I've already got, anyone recommend any games to try? I've played call of duty games, far cry but not far cry 4 yet. Was going to buy borderlands but not sure as I'm not in to space sort of games more in to shooting games and mainly anything with a good storyline.
I'm so grateful for video games
Hi all. After this year with the lockdown. I’ve honestly been playing too much video games. I love my Xbox and call of duty but it’s going to be hard “keeping my hands off it”. Sad but true.... I have used gamer as a way to cope with my depression, anxiety and tbh life. I am looking forward to going back to the gym but not the people.
Join me in welcoming K ;-) to show your support. Reply and say hi 😊
