You can literally lose weight eating only fast food. As long as you're in a caloric deficit, you will lose weight. But is it healthy? Obviously not. My point is there isn't any particular food that will cause weight gain, at the end of the day it is calories in vs calories out. However, there are foods that are high in sodium which causes you to retain more water giving the illusion of weight gain but is actually just water and not fat.
