I’ve been doing so good about joining the gym and getting to classes, but today my anxiety is in overdrive. I don’t want to leave the house, but know that once I get there it’s actually what I need to feel better. Does anyone else get anxiety about going to the gym?

I get anxious from goin out in general I started buying equipment but I would like to start using more that the gym provides so this helps me haha

I did the same. I have all the tools I need to workout from home. I just never use them. I joined the gym so I would get out into the world and be committed to working out more. Think tonight might be a good night to stay in and use all my stuff I have here!

I do but when I’m there I don’t anymore. I hired a personal trainer so I don’t feel so out casted and also get used to the equipment and around the gym helps

I do but it’s not really going to the gym that makes me so anxious, I’m self conscious about my body.

Ya, I just keep telling myself that. It helps during classes, but it doesn’t help with free weights. Just to insecure right now for that.

Hello ...even I also felt same...then I started visualisation about how I will do workout in gym...then it's very easy to come out from bed☺️☺️

I’m sorry. Yes I get like this to. I’m not in a gym but my running club. It started back up after COVID about 6 weeks ago but because of anxiety I just haven’t been back.
