Here’s what I’ve found is so helpful for coaching and goal setting conversations though! First, we’re simply taking a scan of where we’re at. Taking a breath to check and be in this present moment (not good or bad, just is)

Second, take a moment to honor where you are! No blame, no embarrassment, no self-pity necessary... I’m feeling achy because back pain has been triggered this week and there’s more pain than usual - okay 🙂 I’m feeling scattered because it’s the start of the new year and there are business strategies and decisions in working through and juggling - okay 🙂 I’m feeling expectant for the opportunities and doors that will open this year/month. I look forward to working with more people and helping them make an impact.

Some quick ideas! I got up from my chair and poor posture and did just 60seconds of mindful stretching! It’s amazing how the shape of our bodies shape our feelings (a topic for another session!) I did a handstand against the wall- yes! A handstand. This posture encourages me to feel strong and brave (going upside down) and in the moment because it takes ALL of my focus to put of body in this shape And finally- take a look at 2-3 things I want to accomplish today and commit to the next right step This momentum builds and builds :)
