When you breathe in, visualize that the calming energy of the earth is flowing up through your feet up into your belly and then when you exhale it goes up through the top of your head and into the loving universe
Then, on the next breath visualize that the loving energy of the universe is coming in through the top of your head, and when you exhale, going out your feet into the calming firm centred universe.
Take a few of these breaths, and just enjoy the feeling of the love pouring in and the calmness
Then, recall a moment in your life that brings you so much joy it was a moment of pure love.
For me, it was the moment my oldest granddaughter was born and came into this world
Allow yourself to feel that love that Joy for a few moments
Feel that love feeling your room
Then imagine that love filling the house, then your city, then your country, then the world
Then feel all that love come pouring back into you
Receive that bathing of love
That, my beautiful friend, is self-love! It’s like you love in the world, and the world loving you back!❤️
LOL, that should have been loving the world! Although, having your own personal love in is a great way to practice self-love!♥️😍😘
So, to recap, self-love to me means self acceptance, self compassion, and self care.

I mentioned a few ways to practice self-care Dash moving your body, eating healthy foods, meditating, dancing and singing!
Celebrating who you are at the end of the day
Giving yourself a little pat on the back or a little hug, we’re looking in the mirror and saying I love you!
Mirror work is a great way to practice self-love. It was created by the late great Louise Hay
It could be really challenging to start with but keep it up, as after a while you will start feeling love for yourself.
What you do, is look at yourself in the mirror. Noticed your eyes your nose your mouth your smile your wrinkles your hair and appreciate them. Soften your gaze and look into your eyes
And say, I love you! Yes, you, and I love you! You are beautiful! You are powerful! And you are getting through this!
I dare you to try this! It can change your life if you continue to do it. All of these practises well!
Will, not well!
Saying the words over Will create a new Neural pathway in your mind if you do it often enough
Research now shows that it takes 65 to 365 days to create a new neural pathway, so don’t give up after a few days if you don’t feel any different. Keep it up for at least 65 days, why not go for the gold and keep it up for a year! And see how different you feel!

This month of February I have been talking about self love. Why? Because I truly believe that unless we love ourselves, we can’t fully appreciate this incredible life we have
I’m not sure if anybody’s out here listening to me, but if you are, I would love to hear your thoughts on self-love
Last week, I talked about the three critical parts of self love – self acceptance, self compassion, and self care.
I believe self forgiveness is closely linked to self acceptance.
We need to forgive ourselves for what we did and didn’t do or be or have.
And for peace of mind, we need to forgive others for what they did or didn’t do or be or have
I love this quote by Neale Donald Walsh, “ forgiveness is just another word for peace in the language of the soul.”
I think I will read to you a bit from my book, on forgiveness.
“ The benefits of forgiveness are well documented, including better Health, increased income and weight loss. Forgive yourself and others, release the anger, shame and resentments, the ‘could haves, the ‘should haves’ and the guilt.
They don’t serve you; they keep you stuck in that dark dense energy
Forgiveness is a decision you make to ultimately take back your power
When you’re holding resentment not only do you play the victim role, but you give your power to that person.
Forgiveness doesn’t mean that you have to become friends with them again or invite them back into your life.
It’s simply the willingness to let go of the negative emotions which you relive when you think of them in order to claim your own inner strength, resilience and light.
