It’s been an interesting week and a half for me, as I spilled a glass of water on my laptop and took it in to get repaired.

I thought today would be a great day to revisit the wheel of life! So, if you’d like to draw yourself a circle, divide it in half, then divide it in half again so it’s like four pieces of pie, then divide again and again. So you end up with eight equal pieces of pie LOL!

Next, pick one category and think about what it’s like now. Read it on a scale of 1 to 10 meaning one is least satisfaction and 10 out of 10 is it’s awesome I am satisfied!

Next, you’re going to do some dreaming here. You can either do it by writing, or you can just close your eyes and visualize or think about what a 10 out of 10 would look like. When you’ve got that figured out, write it down. Put the title so you remember what it is; for example career.

So, once you’ve got that picture of what 10 out of 10 would be, Move onto the next category. If it’s already a 10 out of 10, then move onto the next category anyways! You don’t need to do any dreaming LOL!

Or you can simply go around the wheel and think of each category, and write down your satisfaction scale right now with each one and do the visualizing later!

Once you have those ideas Think of what would move you up the scale one or two points. So for instance if career was seven out of 10 what would make it an eight out of 10? Or a nine out of 10? Or if it was two, then what would make it a three or a four

Lots of micro steps, you can brainstorm what they might be, and pick one off one at a time

Too often we make huge lofty goals, get started on them and then set ourselves up for failure rather than success. So this is around setting yourself up for success. Make it a small step you can take that you can do and don’t pressure yourself into thinking you need to do the whole big thing in a short period of time!
