Hi there and welcome to happy healthy worthy wealthy
Ending your shower with cold water has proven to be beneficial in so many ways! It gets your blood circulating it it helps reduce stress, lower blood pressure, depression anxiety. It’s a very good thing!!! A really super interesting person to watch if you haven’t seen them yet on YouTube is Wim Hof.
Yes I believe you become what think about
Next, do you want to decide something that you could do for your happiness, that will increase your feeling so forth, your health, and your wealth. It could be a separate step for each category, or one thing might fulfil 2,3 or 4 of those categories.
Welcome Lorrine! I totally agree with that! It is life-changing! Do you have a morning routine?
My grandfather told me always take a cold shower at the end. What do think about taking a cold shower for a minute or two?
That’s great to take a cold shower for a minute or two!
You might enjoy watching whim wim Hof’s videos! It’s amazing what he does- he swims in the arctic ocean with just a bathing suit on by cutting a hole in the ice! And is in incredible physical shape, Doctors worldwide have done testing on him!
There’s thousands of people maybe millions now that follow him and his practices around the world!
There are a group of senior women here in Victoria BC who get up every morning and sit in the ocean water to watch the sunrise.
The ocean is cold here!
All of them have had reduced cholesterol and reduced blood pressure and said they feel so much better for doing it
I okay invigorating shower , shave .what about repeating some intentions for the day
I am not an expert on how long to do a cold shower, I myself I don’t think I’m in it for more than about 30 seconds! And that’s enough for me! I know that on the mornings when I don’t feel like turning on the cold because I just feel like warm I don’t feel as invigorated or energized as I do when I turn on the cold! So it doesn’t have to be that long. I’ve heard others say they do 30 seconds cold 30 seconds hot 30 seconds cold 30 seconds hot etc.
Yes, first step is to have the shower and then set your intentions for the day.
If you have a specific goal in mind, before you set the intention, you may want to visualize just close your eyes and see yourself already living with the goal achieved so feel into it here into it really really be there!
You don’t need to actually see the pictures when you visualize it could just be seeing the words around or the thoughts
Then ask your soul what Is the step to take today to fulfil that if you’re uncertain
I always think of I AM- Intention attention and movement! Focus your attention on your goal, through a brief visualization, repeat an affirmation or two or three, then set your intention, then move, take action!
For instance, if my goal is to be a happy, healthy, worthy wealthy woman, I would repeat I am a healthy healthy worthy wealthy woman! Or if my goal is to be an author, I am a powerful transformational author whose books serve others in positive ways.
Do you have a set goal Loring?
I try to stick to a nightly routine. To turn off so I can sleep
LOL, auto correct keeps correcting Lorring!
Hi Shelley, and welcome! Great to see you here!
Yes, it’s always fabulous to have a morning routine as well as an evening routine!
Since covid it has been a life saver
Would you like To share your evening routine Shelley?
We were talking about the morning routine at the moment, maybe we could finish that off and talk about an evening routine in a minute! Is that OK with you
Of course or I can join you next week
I like to set myself a stamp I can take for my happiness, for my health, and for my wealth each day. That helps keep me grounded and what it truly is I want in this life. Or you could use body mind and spirit if those. Headings appeal to more
I’d love to hear your evening routine right now, because that is a major part of setting ourselves up for success! Loring, are you complete with morning routine and ready to move onto evening routine?
If you have any questions or comments, feel free to ask now!
OK Shelley, take it away!
Are you still here Shelley?
I do three things *I try to go to sleep at about the same time. Then I don’t Sandles over stuff *I make a list of three things to get done tomorrow and leave it on my kitchen table. That gives me a great Easy start *third I do a brain dump
We’d love to hear your evening routine.Mine starts out with reviewing my day, and all that went well, giving myself credit for what I did do.
Thanks Shelley! Yes, a brain dump is a great thing to do! I love that you set your goals at night! I think you’re bringing a very good point – for some people it works best in the evening, for some in the morning. And it really is about finding our rhythm, what works best for us
Brain dump I have a paper with 4 boxes. Worried about Working on Family Blessings I write things down so my subconscious knows it’s taken care of then I go to dleep
I love to do a brain dump through journaling, and always and with at least five things I’m grateful for during the day. U2?
I love that for boxes! Sounds like a great thing to do, I am going to try that! Thanks!
Lorring, Do you have an evening routine
Do you have an evening routine?
… Not sure why that sent twice! Shelley, what do you mean 3 to 5?
Oh I make sure I find 3 gratitudes but I try to be succinct and keep it to five. My brain has a tendency to wander so I keep it in check.
Gotta run have a session. Thanks for yodauy
That’s another routine I have for the morning while I’m in bed- when I wake up, I always say thank you God for another day on this beautiful planet. And then I close my eyes, and breathe into my heart and send our love to my family, to the city, to this country, and to the world. Often I ask, what is the best way for me to serve today? And listen for the answer.
Thanks for joining me Shelley! That was fun
Okay, We still have a couple minutes left. You are welcome to ask me anything!
Thanks for joining me today Lorrine! I hope your day is filled with happiness, good health, and you feel happy, healthy, worthy, and wealthy! I hope to see you next week!
