In my area it’s cold and snowy, and I’m happily planning my spring garden. Though I see the beauty in my winter wonderland it’s not my *favorite* season. Focusing on the beauty that I know is laying dormant in my garden really raises my spirits.
Focusing what we want vs what we don’t is important. I use journaling, meditation, and remaining present to my thoughts in order to stay on the bright side.
What do you do to help yourself stay in a healthy brain space?
Playing soccer with my team helps me, i notice a big difference on the days I have soccer practice vs the days I have nothing
I agree! I used to ref for roller derby and the exercise and team work worked wonders on my mental state.
