Hi there everyone my name is hayden and I’m new to these kinds of things I’m not use to asking or getting help for anything like ever so here it goes I have recently been laid off do to my job taking a big hit from this covid mess and I’ve been on unemployment I’m trying to look for work but everything is seasonal or part time and idk what to do but while I try and figure that out my adhd and anxiety are through the roof and it’s driving me crazy lol

Hi all, I received an email today from my manager. I was promoted in January but in March, before going on my furlough pay, I was told I hadn’t passed my probation and that it would be extended by a month when I return to work. Today, I was asked by my manager to have a meeting with him regarding my probation tomorrow. There was no mention of a reduction of pay or return to work. I’m worried I’m being let go!
You’ve heard the phrase, “Deal with the cards dealt to you!”, right? How many of those cards would you like to hold onto? How about discard? What about the next draw? Take an inventory and notice what you like about the ones you want to hold, and the same with the ones you want to discard. What about those that you have to keep? You know, the cards that you wish would just go away. Life may feel like it does when holding a hand of cards. Come to terms with your deck. Know which cards to discard, learn to accept those you keep, and have fun with those you play! Embrace your decisions with confidence. Observe the dynamics while noticing the players in the game. They have just as much going on as you! The respect and dignity that you come to know for yourself, will be that which you give to them. In all circumstances your thoughts are present. No matter what cards you are holding onto, your thoughts are stirring feelings and you, are reacting to them. This my friend, becomes the results of your life. So, if using the metaphor that life is like a card game, what consideration do you have for the cards you are holding, those you discard and those you play?

I saw a lot of comments over the week concerning unemployments, Credit card debt, house debt, car debt and loans all this have been a major problem in our recent societies, I know is pretty bad for some people and that’s why we need to come together and help the masses in anyway we can, nothing is too small or no advise is a waste. I thought I was going back to work.. I did training and I was so excited to get out of my house and back into a routine and then I got a call that I am now laid off until dec 31st.. I just feel like a disappointment and that they won’t have me back and I’ll just be in a huge depression by then.. I feel so alone in my house and I don’t feel like I can do anything
My company has been stringing me along furlough status every 2 weeks for the past 4 months. It’s been hard getting my hope up of going back, just to be told it’s another 2 weeks. And they always wait til the day before to notify us. It’s been stressful and has caused me to be inconsistent with my job search. The next return date I’ve been given is dec. 1st. If it’s pushed after I’ll find a temporary job in the meantime:/ it took me 10 months to find this job and it was my first job out of college, it’s sad to me that I never got the experience I needed from the job

Regardless of what is happening around you. Always try to set aside some time for “You”. It makes all the difference in the world, believe me. Do something you love during this time. It does not have to be something extravagant. It can be something as simple as listening to music ( your favourites usually works), or singing your heart out, reaching out to someone just because, reciting affirmations and believing in them or just being in the moment and being grateful for the good things you have in your life that makes things easier. Forget about the things you have no control over and just enjoy that moment. Sending you all tons of love and Blessing in this new year 😍 🤗😍

As a child you learned behaviors to protect yourself. As an adult you learn how to recognize those behaviors and change them. Why? Notice the “chatter” in your mind. The thoughts that attack you are those to change. Need control? What is that based on? Hyper vigilant? What can you trace that to? As I go through a seven week course on PQ which is short for Positive Intelligence Quotient, I will be sharing snippets of what I am learning with you. Join me Wednesdays at 9:00 am PST in What Now? For your growth and wellness. As an exercise to engage your brain with a command, this coming week, every time you wash your hands focus only on the sounds of the water. When other thoughts come in, simply command your brain to listen to the water. This trains your brain in the same way to focus on what you are working on and diminish the thoughts that produce depression, anxiety and other debilitating progress. You are the beautiful child born to be loved and give love. Start practicing self-control by diminishing the judge/enemy in you that will always be there. Adhere to what you know about love and ditch any false claims that you are anything but that! These my friend are sustainable practices leading first you, then those who are influenced by you and YOUR actions. How can you be an unconditional loving being to self and others?

Hi everyone. I’m looking for your advice, my office / manager has been bullying me for some time, is allowing favourite staff members to work from home (everyone in my team but me) and forcing everyone else into the office - like 30% of us. No one social distances in the office and we do not need to be there. We share toilets with the public and anyone can access the building. I caught covid from the office a couple of months ago but suffering from breathing and energy issues after, but they are forcing me back in the office again. When I ask to work from home, they say they have no laptops, however they gave a laptop to a staff member a few weeks ago who only works 1 day a week and I work full time. My doctor has signed me off but I feel stuck and disabled in some ways, I don’t know my rights and what to do. It’s causing me to feel anxious. Please help/seeking advice
