A thought for all: we are in a relationship with our thoughts. Like any relationship it needs adjusting from time to time. I invite you to ask negative thoughts to take a brief break, or even turn the volume down.
Trauma responses and memories surfacing are there to tell us something, that we need to work on them and incorporate them. It’s just hellish when they surface so HARSHLY. That’s when we need to practice as much self care as we can.
