How do you make time for yourself when your always so busy being a mom and wife

For me it meant prioritizing my sleep and getting up before everybody. Mothers helpers are also great like paying a teenager or adolescent a few bucks just to hang out with the kiddo in the other room while you do your own thing. It’s mostly about scheduling time for yourself because if you don’t it won’t happen

A B gave a fantastic idea! Do you have the means to outsource your responsibilities to other people? If you're feeling overwhelmed, you need to make thinking of ways to "reduce the whelm" your next full time job!

Exactly. Sometimes we put the pressure on ourselves through expectations. Like ask yourself if this doesn’t happen right now what’s the worst thing that will happen or if I cook a simple meal for everyone to spend more time playing with children or relaxing that’s how we can carve out extra time. Children don’t remember clean houses they remember spending time with parents.

Being a mom and a wife it is super hard to find time for yourself. I have found that when I put my son to bed is the best time. I will draw a bath once I have him down and have an hour or two of personal quiet time before going to spend time with my husband.

It's just hard to because my husbands schedule and my kids schedules are so messed up because his working hours.

Hi Nicole. Frankly, scheduling the time or when others are engaged let what you thought you were going to do be not what you do and chill. Just stop. Take a break to get focused on your whole body. Just listen to your breath and notice all the parts of your body. Notice the sounds around you and what happens here is you are getting away of the part of your brain that wants to process every thought. You can simply chill and it will refresh you. A mental break.
