Hi everyone! I have this terribly painful issue with trapped 💨 and it feels like I’m getting stabbed by hundreds of knives in my stomach. I really don’t know what to do. I’ve been told it can be from drinking gassy drinks like soda and beer or anxiety but everyone (doctors included) says it’s fine and it will go away if I take pepto but they don’t understand how painful it really is! honesty I just want to know if anyone has any other useful information about it and how to stop/prevent it because I can’t continue on with this much pain. I can’t breathe, my whole body starts to sweat and I can’t move out of the fetal position until they come out. Any info/ advice can help!

Drink peppermint tea and maybe try someone like to help you go to the toilet if you might be considpated. Also a heated pad or hot water bottle used help .

I’ve been there…. Oh gosh have I been there. Mine is a lot of health blah blah why. I take something to ensure my digestive system eliminates in a regular fashion (ClearLax). Probiotics. I should use a fiber supplement but don’t (which I don’t necessarily recommend for you since gas is a common side effect of that). Ultimately, Yoga. Yoga is the other answer to absolutely everything. A regular does of yoga will help to keep things moving in a regular fashion. There are some yoga poses that are actually perfect to help with the elimination of gas. Have you discussed any additional testing with your doctor? Like making sure things are structurally healthy (mine wasn’t and required surgery)? Blood tests? You could have IBS with constipation on a hmmm…. What you’re describing sounds very similar to what my husband goes through. It’s agonizing for him at times. IBS with diarrhea is much more commonly known than that. And he said yes - knives. Although he thinks of them more like hot pokers
