Think about it. What drove you to be and do who you are today? Are you driving things forward in your life with a ball and chain of negativity or clear and confident with your identity?
What drove you before may not be what drives you now. Over time we become aware of what truly matters to us. A sense of right verses wrong steers us in a worthwhile direction. We become secure with authentic-driven and values-based decisions. Adopting ideas from days gone by may have steered us in a direction which has taught us what we don’t want to be a part of. Be aware of your internal dialogue and embrace your true will to drive all your decisions. Notice how you have developed over time. Continue to drive the straight and narrow path accepting the rest stops along the way and the wrong turns that developed discernment and the pull outs for reflection. Take a step back and reflect on what drives you now. What is important with where you want to go? Take the drivers seat and be in full control of where you are going. Steer clear of head on collisions. Stay in your lane. Pass those that need your guidance and keep an eye on them in your rear view mirror. They’ll take their own lead when they are ready. Make an emergency stop when necessary. Be courteous to impatient drivers seeking their authentic way. Share the road. Follow when necessary and hold fast to your Guide. May your day be filled with delight along your route. Enjoy all the scenery and the special people, places, and things that appear in your view. Feeling like you are not driving yourself? Always in the passenger seat? What would you like to do to change that?
