What is one thought you would like to change that you hear over and over? Could be things like, “You’re such an idiot!” Or “Why do you do that all the time?” Or, “They are so dumb!” Or, “I wish I could be like that!” Everyone has a different voice that tells them they are something! What is the one thing you hear over and over?

Now, Examine at what age would you have adopted that mantra?

When we name the mantra, we can start to take control of it! We can gently remind that mantra to settle down and be quiet. Acknowledging that it is NOT TRUE! By doing this you take control if the thought rather than the thought control you!

Hi Maxie! Is it true that you can’t learn something from trying? How so?

So for this next week, that is your homework! Stay focused in what you want and do one thing that will help you move in that direction!

Aw! Yep! He had probably the same mantra! Forgiveness is key and think of it as a gift so you can really appreciate what you know now about it not being true and it was just something that he lived with. You can break the cycle! You can be the forerunner now of changing that to: “When we try anything, we always learn something from it!” And respectfully acknowledging your dad for doing his best for what he knew. Blessings to you today! ❌⭕️

Ideas: read a book, schedule a meeting with someone in a profession you are intrigued with, schedule a phone call with someone you would like to ask how they became so confident,
