Hey everyone 😊How is everyone connecting with their parents/ grandparents? How are you coping with it? Have you helped someone who maybe is vulnerable?
I love my grandparents. And older people, it amazes me with their stories, I could sit there for hours and hours listening to every detail of their up bringing. I want to know about their first loves. Their names, what she wore, When they first got in trouble and what for, who with, I want to hear about their friends growing up, and how different life was. What it was like in the war, history is something that will stay alive forever. It’s something that we all can learn from and embrace, and by knowing these things you see their emotions, people are so rushed these days, that you forget the little things like listening and laughing matter, enjoy them. They are hidden gems we should admire fully 💕
I admire grandparents I learn from them

I’m frustrated with my extended family for mistreating, neglecting and abusing my grandparent. He refuses to leave the home and they refuse to take care of him properly. He has been neglected despite having children who can take care of him. It is scary and distressing for me to watch. I have heard that he has been made to go hungry and thirsty for hours, isn’t even given a warm thermostat for cold winter air, and is rarely offered a change of clothes or a shower. The behavior is inhumane and no one cares. I’m extremely sad and quite angry watching this all happen. How can we report elderly abuse and how can we stop it?
How is everyone feeling
