Hello everyone, I trust we are all good? I saw a lot of comments over the week concerning unemployments, Credit card debt, house debt, car debt and loans all this have been a major problem in our recent societies, I know is pretty bad for some people and that’s why we need to come together and help the masses in anyway we can, nothing is too small or no advise is a waste. Remember we rise by lifting others! So let’s spread this love out and I’m here for anyone who needs my help. Have a blessed day everyone!

I’m having a deeply frustrating time making new sales for my startup. The problem is the lack of interest in my first degree network. I know only a few people with projects and budgets that can incorporate my business for their services. The rest are either unable to seek funding or are not in need of these services. How can I break out this low confidence model to seek out new, cold leads which are eventually converted?

I’m finding the initial stage grind work emotionally very tough to deal with. On other levels, it has been fine. The emotional experience of being an entrepreneur is of constantly being brave in the face of uncertainty, and constantly having to be a strong anchor for yourself. To ground and keep pushing no matter what. For me, the most draining aspects of being an enterpreneur include: 1. Not sure when and how my business will eventually scale up - generates feelings of anxiety, confusion, shame and sorrow 2. Doubts about my ability to truly lead others - imposter syndrome, shame and confusion, as well as incomparable anger towards myself 3. Life in general feels much different, knowing that I have to build far more often and with greater intensity than others

Sometimes I just feel sad and depressed thinking that I am surrounded by economic concerns on different levels. It makes me worry that I won’t be able to secure funds or do anything meaningful when it comes to making sales.

I’ve been so afraid of sharing this with others that I’ve allowed it to slow me down. These are all normal emotions experienced by entrepreneurs, especially when launching a business during economic climates that are not as favourable for venture capital. But that doesn’t mean that we should lose hope. It just means that we are experiencing otherwise common reactions to challenges. Negative emotions are not signs of failure.

Thinking of investing in cryptocurrency & bitcoin & I know it's risky. However, Idk how risky it is, but I want to invest & make money off of that. Does anyone know about cryptocurrency and/or bitcoin who could advise on this?

Someone asked me if the coaching sessions on Wisdo are the same as what they would experience in a personal coaching session with me. Here is my response: What I offer as ideas in the Coaching Session here on Wisdo is different from what you experience in a coaching session with me that you can book from my Coaching Session here on Alignable. In a coaching session with me either by phone or Zoom, you bring a topic or an idea to the session that is bothering you or you want to work towards. I use my coaching skills to help you overcome and do what is important to you. Through the process you become the most true to yourself! You honor who you are and everything you start doing stems from what your true self is and your life becomes more resilient to circumstances and joy is met for the sake of love. Love of self and those around you! You rid yourself of shame, guilt, victimhood and learn to forgive and embrace what you stand for. You become love.

I’m currently in a personal leave period. It doesn’t stop me from worrying about my business though. How can I separate my business from my personal life and maintain a healthy presence in both?

I pitched to a series of mentors today and one of them was a total asshole! He called me “young lady” as if his gender made him some kind of hero. What a jerk! He then went on to list a number of BS reasons which made no logical sense as to why my business shouldn’t be in operation. He was rude, arrogant and completely thoughtless. What an asshole. I felt ashamed of myself and my business, and felt humiliated by his tone and use of language. I wasn’t a fan of the way he spoke to me. I think he was a misogynistic loser and has no ability to judge others.

I’m not even sure if he is capable of running a business. He looks extremely incompetent in video talks and has very unrelated experiences to running a business.

I wish he wasn’t part of the judging panel because he doesn’t deserve to judge me. He is no one to judge our business.

I feel depressed and dejected. I lost my opportunity to seek seed funding for my business. It comes as a huge loss to us financially, as we were hoping to expand and scale our operations. This is something that I realise comes as a blow to my expectations of my business’ performance and readiness. I seek more time to be able to get over this because it seems like I am in more grief than I imagined being in. It just is the loss of many months of hard work, sacrifices and a heavy focus. I wish that this wasn’t the case as we had been working hard to try and hire persons, expand our operations and I had even suspended some involvements in previous accelerators to participate in this. It feels like I have wasted time, effort, energy, and precious resources that I won’t get back. I feel like I have let myself and my business down by making the decision to focus on a source of seed funding that didn’t materialise. I had done so with good intentions, but I believe now that I made a big mistake in trying to do this for our business through this channel. It was a frustrating and draining experience and I wish that I had never applied. I could have made so much progress in the areas of resource and operations and product development. I now have to plan for another year based on this. I am feeling like a loser and a burden for my company. If I was not the founder, I would have fired myself for this mistake. It feels like something that isn’t forgivable because of the losses it caused us.

What else did we really need? We had a plan in place. We were going to hire students and find people to compensate for their work. I don’t know why we weren’t chosen despite having a better and more resilient business model than many other businesses. It made us more worthy of investment than other businesses because we were resistant to market changes based on our business model. It just feels like we are now joking around and this business is one large joke, which it is not. I really don’t find it to be any kind of a joke. So why bring it to this level for me. Why?

It almost feels like the criticism was correct. It makes me feel like my business is a waste of time, effort and energy. I know that this isn’t true. But it’s so painful that this loss came to us. Luckily, our business model is resistant enough to sustain this loss. Others would have been broken down completely by it.

Seed funding is a necessary element for us. I need more funding to help bring this business to fruition. I wish we had more resources to provide us with opportunities to become successful.

Someone I had met on the networking app, Shapr is trying to get me to pay her or her company $100 for a background check in order to take the educational finance classes. She has asked me to give her 5 character references. I have given her 3 & I'm thinking this is fishy or scam-like. I did not give her any more references. I had talked to her over Zoom & tonight was the second time & hopefully the last. I have to tell her to NOT call nor text the people I told her. How do I tell her that I am not interested in her service or finance classes? I mean aren't there free sources on the internet to learn finance besides books??

I work at a designer (Tory Burch) accessories store. My manager gave a task: Look at ALL the bags, shoes, wallets & sunglasses on the Tory e-commerce site & see what we have. I didn't ask her why she gave me this task, but my guess is so that I know the product. I don't know if I should tell her that I cannot memorize that kind of information. It is not how my brain works. I don't even remember which bags we have in stock that are not on the floor that were on the e-commerce site. I really don't know if I should give an example of how my brain works & why I can't memorize that kind of information. What should I do?

As a child you learned behaviors to protect yourself. As an adult you learn how to recognize those behaviors and change them. Why? Notice the “chatter” in your mind. The thoughts that attack you are those to change. Need control? What is that based on? Hyper vigilant? What can you trace that to? As I go through a seven week course on PQ which is short for Positive Intelligence Quotient, I will be sharing snippets of what I am learning with you. Join me Wednesdays at 9:00 am PST in What Now? For your growth and wellness. As an exercise to engage your brain with a command, this coming week, every time you wash your hands focus only on the sounds of the water. When other thoughts come in, simply command your brain to listen to the water. This trains your brain in the same way to focus on what you are working on and diminish the thoughts that produce depression, anxiety and other debilitating progress. You are the beautiful child born to be loved and give love. Start practicing self-control by diminishing the judge/enemy in you that will always be there. Adhere to what you know about love and ditch any false claims that you are anything but that! These my friend are sustainable practices leading first you, then those who are influenced by you and YOUR actions. How can you be an unconditional loving being to self and others?

I'v been working at this fashion retail store for a little over 3 months now & I've been the only sales associate there for most of the time. I don't get paid much. I would like to know if it is appropriate to ask for a raise in higher pay. I work at Tory Burch, btw.

I have read many books and taken multiple courses on confidence. Here are some key takeaways I’ve learnt so far. 🟢 Count down from 5 as fast as you can when you feel like your nervous or can’t do something. 🟢 Say what’s on your mind. Just do it. No matter what. You have to live yourself. Don’t say stuff to make other people like you. Express yourself freely 🟢 Remove negative people / things from ur life. 🟢 Stand straight and smile through doorways ( literally every doorway ) stop and say I am happy, healthy, successful This is a powerful method to build any habit. In this case make u feel amazing. And since your smiling and standing up straight, you will Look confident. 🟢 Visualise It Going Successful Before something your feeling nervous, literally visualise it going successfully. Tricking your subconscious 🟢 general Checklist Shoulders back Chest out Breathe ( in nose out mouth. Belly breathe! ) Underwater moves ( pretend your literally underwater. It will slow your jerky movements that are seen as unconfident. Voice ( when you are nervous, your sentences end with the pitch going up. Try to make it flat or drop down a bit ) Eye contact ( look at Eyebrows if you can’t. Or look into their eyes and really try to think what their eye colour is. ) Smile 🟢 Think grateful thoughts ( can’t be fearful and grateful at same time ) 🟢 See everything positive EVERYTHING. Sounds a bit much but even deaths I turn into positive. Not in a rude way though. 🟢 Replace negative words for good I Can’t I won’t I never Stuff like this you might type it say in daily life. Replace them with I will or others 🟢 Make Decisions Don’t just agree with a friend on where to go for Example 🟢 Think progress not perfection 🟢 50% it’s their right to give you problems, advice, feedback but it’s your right to say yes or no Compare yourself to YOURSELF NEVER EVER compare yourself to others. That is the biggest mistake almost everyone makes In their life!! ( I’ll post this in all the groups I’m in so that it gives the chance to help everyone. )

I have this job & they cut my hours from working 3 or 4 days per week to 2. This slowly happened from the beginning of this year from working 5 days per week to 4 & then to 3. For the next two weeks, I'm working 2 days per week. I deciding if I should leave my job & apply for other ones that I'm interested in. What I should I do? I'm not barely getting paid & my commute is getting expensive. One of the managers said there reason is due to business, store's sales goals, each individual sales goals & coverage needs
