There are many possible reasons why individuals have a hard time achieving and maintaining a healthy weight. I'll discuss three of them: 1- severely restricting caloric intake -this can slow the metabolism and alter hormones related to appetite. 2-having a quick fix mindset - there is no quick fix - effective weight maintenance should involve a long-term plan 3- relying on willpower simply doesn't work because willpower is limited. The key is in creating healthy lifestyle changes and new habits that will last a lifetime.
There is no such thing as a bad food
