today I thought we’d continue with clearing and letting go. Spring is the perfect time for this, and get rid of the old clutter physically and mentally and emotionally and make space for new growth and goals

Several years ago, I used to say to everyone happy Easter, happy spring! Happy happy everything! I love that saying to this day
And it reminds me that for many years I thought happiness meant always feeling happy, always feeling joy
And when I wasn’t feeling happy, I thought I was doing something wrong. Anybody relate?
Yet as human beings we have the full range of emotions. I remember when I took the science of happiness course several years ago I was delighted to read that happy people are not happy all the time. That they feel the full range of emotions, and are at peace with that.
That makes me feel better. And reminds me to let go of wanting to feel happy happy joy joy all the time!
That is part of letting go of emotional clutter!!!
I thought we’d spend a little time talking about emotional or mental clutter today, as last time we spoke about physical clutter. This is a great time to get rid of physical clutter, to make room for the new. Even if it’s just one thing a day, and it doesn’t need to be big, it really has a huge impact
If you have a lot of clutter, there’s a cool fend shut exercise that can really free up space quickly!
It’s called 27–9. How it works is you clear your space of 27 things each day for nine days. If you miss a day, you start over again. I did this a couple of years and it was amazing how freeing I felt at the end of nine days!
Ok I'm going to have surgery Tuesday and I've had test most of the week got some tomorrow and Monday and Tuesday I have to be at the hospital at 530 for my surgery I sorry but I'm really tired from all all the tests I will join you all as soon as I get to were I'm able to do so I hope you understand
This year, I’m doing one thing a day, and it’s feeling good to me.

Sending lots of healing energy and good vibes your way, that your surgery goes well and you heal quickly!
Clearing your space a little a day, even five minutes a day, may help you feel better going into your surgery! Specially if you clear it with holding the intention of good health!
I think that’s a really big thing of clearing an area, is when we clear it with an intention of what it is we want to create in our lives, whether it’s greater happiness, better Health, greater feelings of worthiness, or increased wealth
Last time we spent a few minutes looking at several areas of life – your physical environment, your relationships, your health, career, Fun and recreation, retirement goals .
And wrote a list of things that brought us joy and things that brought us down. In other words, energy drainers and energy vampires.
Oops! I meant energy drainers and energy enhancers!With the idea of increasing the energy enhancers!
My mistake! We didn’t do that exercise last time, we looked at what the incompletes were in each area and what needed to be done! My apologies
Today, I thought we could take a look at the mental or emotional clutter that we have that we may want to let go of. Unless somebody is here that would like to talk about physical clutter more?
One of the things that really clutters our mind is expectations. Anybody relate to that?
I know personally, that the times my partner and I have challenges are the times when I expect him to be somebody other than he is. For example, I want him to be more sensual than he is acting, or more understanding.
When we let go of the expectations we have, and except what is in the present, there is no emotional clutter!
It’s a process, From the first step is the awareness of it happening. Then we are at choice as to how we respond
For me, it’s asking the question “ what would love do?”
Another thing that creates emotional clutter is the need to control. I think especially in this Covid time we are wanting to have more control over what is going on.
And we can’t control everything in the universe!
It’s recognizing what is within our control and what is outside of our control, and letting go of the things that are outside of our control, leaving that up to the universe!
As I wrote that, Covid brought up the amount of fear that many of us are living in.
And being able to let go of the fear
