Ha! Typo! Media! What media are you letting into your life?
I have clients that tell me they experience a lot of anxiety, and they also watch a lot of crime related TV and listen to crime related podcasts. Interesting connection don’t you think? I always suggest to them that they really think about how much enjoyment they are actually getting from this type of media.
No I’m not suggesting that we never watch or listen to media from various genres. But I am suggesting that we carefully consider how we feel after we imbibe these things.
Ultimately we need to look at what our choices are.
We can continue on a path of taking in media that doesn’t always make us feel great or we can make better choices.
